Expanded Safety Orientations & Membership Renewals

Beginning in late March 2008, the new Membership Committee will be hosting New Member Safety Orientation every Saturday at 10:00am at the Clubhouse. 

 

Effective immediately, Memberships can be renewed in person at the Clubhouse each Saturday from 10:00 am to 12 noon

New Club President

 

During a special Board of Directors meeting on January 9th, Ron Smith, President, Cheshire County Fish & Game Club, resigned his position citing on-going health and personal reasons.  Following Ron’s resignation, the Board elected Joe Greathouse to fill the position of President for the remainder of the term.  Joe has been a club member since 2003 and has served on the Board of Directors as Webmaster and Newsletter Chairperson since 2005.   President's Letter

New Membership Chairperson

 

Dave Swenson has volunteered to lead the Membership committee.  In this new role, Dave will be organizing a team to not only take care of existing membership needs, but to also look into ways of expanding the club's membership numbers through a variety of channels.  The new membership committee includes:  Kris Armstrong, Gene Cleary, Ed Csenge, Nick Dispensa, and Sandy Tatham

 

 

Volunteer Help Needed

 

 

Newsletter Chairperson – The club is in need of someone who has a desire to help the club grow and keep the membership better informed through the newsletter that is published 3-4 times a year.  The position requires a person with good organizational skills and creativity.  The Newsletter Chair solicits article input from the various disciplines within the club as well as other committees that are holding events at the club.  If interested, please contact any club officer or board member.
